Is it true that pregnancy causes hiccups to be more frequent ?

OMG, this is soooo true in my case. I am 34 weeks pregnant and the hiccups drive me nuts! They don't last very long, usually only get 3 or 4 and that's it. But I get them all day long on and off. Not sure why, I guess it has something to do with pressure on the stomach. But yes, it can definitely be true for some.
