Where do you put the extra osiris shoe laces?

I just got Osiris shoes yesterday and i had two different colors for my shoelaces. The extra shoelaces not used are REALLY long and i don't know where to put them. They're in the inside of the shoe, but it's uncomfortable. Do i cut them off? I tried making a knot and then putting my foot in first, then putting the knot under the top.. but it usually falls out. Help!
