What is this feeling in my throat?

3 month old spitting up... DR won't do anything about it!?

I posted a question a few days ago about my 3 month old son spitting up ALL the time. I called his DR to see if we could just try some acid reflux medicine and she said no, and to just keep trying different formulas. I don't want to keep trying formulas, because I know it can mess with his delicate stomach. He spits up every feeding and between feedings. I tried to lower how many ounces he's eating,burping him more, sitting him up for 45 minutes after feedings, added rice to his bottles (recommended by his Dr) and he still spits it all up. He's had this problem since he was born. I know some babies just spit up but I DO NOT think this is just a case of him being a "spitter" he spits up ALOT of the milk, his mouth looks like a faucet, it just keeps coming and never stops. The spit up is chunky and he is sometimes in pain. AND he has constant hiccups and a cough. Which seems to make it worse. All of this points to a mild case of Acid Reflux. There has to be something out there to help my baby boy. Or is the DR right? He will outgrow it? It just doesn't seem normal for him to spitting up this much all the time.

If you wrote and published that, I'd probably spend about �14 on it :) Please, go ahead and write it cos it will be a success if its done just right! You could turn it into a series of books, like where you spread the story over three books? Each book would be about 300 pages long :) I'd say over all there would be three books with your story in it. That way, the reader isn't overwhelmed and put off by a book with masses of pages (as most people wont buy a book if its like really thick) and it will result in more profit for you if each book was priced at even �10 :) Good luck! Ciprodex caused ear congestion?

I went to the doctor today assuming that i had Swimmers Ear in both my ears, sure enough i do. My left ear has an infection in the canal and the drum, my right ear only has an infection in the canal. My doctor prescribed Ciprodex drops twice daily for 7 days. I applied the first two drops in both ears about 2 hours ago and now my left ear feels as if it is completely congested. I can hear pretty much NOTHING out of my left ear. My right ear is perfectly fine. Occasionally when i hiccup (i have them right now), yawn, or just move in a leftward motion, my ear will open up and I can hear, but only for a few seconds before hearing is gone again. Is this normal or should I consult my physician?

I think I may have made my dog fearful of me?

so I have a Great Dane x Pit x Lab x Boxer x Mastiff (I know right?) and before I left for school this morning I had put down the dogs' food as I normally did and all of my other dogs ate and when on about their way, but the dog in question didn't eat (which is unusual for him). So I went over and tried to pick up his bowl (something I have done countless times without a prob) and he bared his teeth at me and growled. In a firm voice I said "Osiris down" but he kept on growling and even tried to bite me. So of course I was thinking "oh hell no." I grabbed him by his neck and pinned him against the wall so that he was standing on his hind legs and stared him directly in the eyes. I let him go after a few seconds and left him alone. I went to go pick up his bowl again and he let out a half growl and so I did the same thing again. I went to pick up the bowl again and he did nothing. Today I came home and he was the only dog that didn't greet me. I tried to take him for a walk and normally he's wagging his tail and jumping around but this time he just sat their calmly with his ears back. I kind of feel bad for what I did but at the same time, he is a 122lb dog (and that's on the lean side), he doesn't need to be showing aggression of any kind. Did I do something wrong?

So my little one is always having hiccups. I just read they are completely normal and that it means that the nervous system is fully developed and growing stronger as well as the diaphragm. Since its been awhile I would just buy a cheap pregnancy test and try it because if you are having symptoms of pregnancy (migranes, throwing up) its from the hcg hormone that is released once the baby implants and thats what is making you sick and thats also what makes pregnancy tests positive. So if you are in fact pregnant and these are pregnancy symptoms then it should come out positive. If it comes out negative then I would just wait and see how you feel for the rest of the month and see if your next period comes. If it does then I'd say ur not pregnant. From what your telling me it sounds like one of your muscles has a severe tightening at times. Mine does this to and it hurts a lot. There isn't really a name for the disorder but it's a uncontrollable tightening and straining of a muscle. Some people have it in their arms and some even in their jaws imagine that. You should see a doctor however tell him exactly what you told me. There doesn't seem to be spinal damage I've played paintball and I do ride dirt bikes occasionally (Not all doctors are boring some like to be young to believe it or not) as long as your safe about it you should be okay. What I do is before I go to sleep every night I push into the strained area and massage it with pressure, it sounds odd but it honestly does help relax the muscle for the night and all day the next day. It will take a few days to really take affect but it helps a little in the beginning. One story I have though is a lady (a patient of mine name is undisclosed) had the same problem and it actually made her to the unthinkable and cut her muscle apart (she was diagnosed with schizophrenia afterwards) because a "voice" in her head told her to. I feel bad for people like that. I feel good that I get to help them though.

It will pull up a list of various bamboo and some growers. Some phone calls to them may get your answer. At my nursery it is just the Fernleaf and Hedge Bamboo in production. Dig up a little of the field grown stock bamboo and stick it in a container. With some water, fertilizer and weed control, a full 6-8' bamboo is produced in a 15 gallon container in as little as 18 months. Canes are smaller, typically less than an inch, but it is a good bamboo. The other species mentioned above get bigger canes over an inch. Oldhamii is the giant bamboo we used to grow (canes 4-6" and fast) but it was to fast and quickly became difficult to care for if there were not buyers. If you can find someone that has bamboo, of any kind, see if they will let cut/dig some of it out and start your own.

Causes for hiccups??????

No start on 91 Chrysler Imperial?

For some reason the car doesnt want to start. Checked spark...its fine. I checked the fuel at the check valve with the button on it pressed down. While cranking the car, no fuel spit out of it. There is no fuel smell coming out the exhaust after cranking numberous times. After changing the fuel filter, it hiccuped a couple times while cranking. But still continues with the no start situation. I put my hand under the gas tank when my bro turned the key and I can't feel the time fuel pump turn on. I doesn't make a buzzing noise either. But when the key is turned the fuel pump relay clicks so its not a faulty relay. I found what looks like a diagnostic connector under the hood with a single wire diagnostic port near the main relay box. Is there a way to check for other codes via this connector(s)? I checked the engine codes via the key ON-OFF-ON procedure but only pops up a code 12. Could I possibly have a bad fuel pump? I havent borrowed a fuel pressure gauge yet. But I am thinking about getting one. Thanks!

Ac / heating question?

My office heating/air conditioning duct work was expanded to include a small kitchen & another 20x15 room. No returns were added to the extra ducts (or whatever you call them). The guy who works in the room is a chain smoker. Shortly after the ducts were added I started smelling smoke in my office. I'm told I'm crazy and that it's impossible for smoke smell to come in since there's no return in that room. I said smoke can still go up through the vent and travel. They closed the vent & that didn't work & he covered the hole with a piece of metal, but it's not sealed & I still smell cigarettes when he's smoking a lot. Now he has a fan to keep cool & it's blowing the smoke, up at the ceiling. When the guy isn't here, the smell isn't here. I say the smoke still gets in and travels through the duct and they say I'm nuts. Please help. I'm desperate & hate smelling smoke in my office everyday. What is your professional opinion??

One of my gerbils is acting strange and it's scaring me :(?

So, usually my male gerbil, Tom, is very active and he'll get on the wheel forever and dig and burrow, and move and play just nonstop. He's just a tiny ball of energy. Well, I'm staying at a friends house and my mom said that she probably would forget to feed my gerbils, so I was like ok, cool and I took them with me. My friend showed me to the room where I could keep them in, but it was cold in there and the gerbils would stay on a high dresser close to the ceiling vent. But I let them stay anyways. So within a couple of hours, I checked back and tried interacting with them. I just went to my 34 week doctors appointment today and everything went good as usual, although I've attained a bladder infection which is fairly normal throughout pregnancy. My little boy kicks day and night, hiccups, and I feel his movements low and high, so from the outside, I feel that he's healthy. My doctor measured my uterus today and I'm measuring 30 cms. The usual for around this time would be 34 cms, and it has me really worried. Although she's really calm about it, she's scheduled me for a fetal assessment to make sure everythings good with him. Yesterday I had hiccups like 4 different times during the day, so could this be gas? I've also been drinking alot of milk because 2 days ago I was at the hospital and found out I have calcium deficiency! Its kind of under and to the side of my left breast! I'm 17 years old, and while at the doctor 2 days ago, he listened to my heart and everything was fine so it's not a heart attack (I hope) it's a sharp stabbing pain that comes and go! If it's trapped gas, how can I relieve this! Drink water? Thanks!!

Also the historical claims of the resurrections of Gods defy all laws of the natural world, making this preposterous claim would in fact render scientific knowledge useless. While science has the ability to make predictions, religion remains in it's corner, trying to adjust and discard things that don't agree with their dogma. Perhaps modifying and attempting to debunk things we learn such as evolution.

Behringer's new Personal Mixer [P16-M]? Thoughts?

We are looking to upgrade our whole sound system at our church, and we started by buying a PreSonus StudioLive 24.4.2. Best mixer I've ever used, It's used 6 times a week, 3 hour periods for 3 months; no hiccups from the board whatsoever. We got rid of all our rack equipment...back to the the P16. We are tired of wedge-monitors. But Aviom is WAY out of our reach. Has anyone tried this new Personal Mixer system by Behringer?

35 Weeks pregnant and menstral like cramps?

Ok so I am 35 weeks and 4 days pregnant. Baby dropped head down at 32 weeks into pelvis. For the past 3 days i have been experiencing mild menstral like cramps along with braxton hicks. I know there is no problem with my baby girl as she is moving all the time and getting hiccups often lol. She is already almost 6 and a half pounds. Sometimes the cramps can be a painful, sometimes they seem to go for an hour or two and sometimes i will get them quite regularly. Could this be a sign of labour? What are the chances i will make it till 40 weeks?

New false ceiling or restore and keep old wooden ceiling?

I have a huge 56m2 old wooden ceiling. I am about to replace it with a new false ceiling but now i have severe doubt as to whether that is the right decision. The wooden ceiling is covered with a thick brown paint. The original wood may be pine but im not sure. The wood needs replacing in a few places and there are gaps in between the planks. It will take a lot of money to restore. Is it worth restoring this ceiling (as an original feature of the house) or should I continue to put a false plasterboard ceiling up? I have to decide TODAY!

Is my pet Hamster okay? Tumor or no?

My hamster has a white pimple like bump in between her eyes and above her nose. It just looks like a big pimple. The hair around it is gone, but the rest of her body is completely groomed and fine. It sprung up about 3 weeks ago. Since then her behavior has actually been better. She is more calm and less squirmish. More friendly too. She is also making sneezing/hiccups sounds. My doctor thinks I have Marfan syndrome. Dog having breathing problems?

My dachshund seems to be having a bit of trouble breathing today. She's still very active and wants to play but then she'll stop because she's making these funny noises - sounds like something between a hiccup and the "reverse sneeze" my beagle sometimes does. She's also constantly licking her nose and there's some discharge from the nostrils (it's pretty normal for her in the left nostril but not the right). It might have something to do with her chronic eye condition. She's had it since she was a puppy (she's 5 now) the tear ducts in her left eye don't produce tears so the vet prescribed Optimmune to be put into the eye daily to prevent conjunctivitis. It doesn't always work and today, BOTH of her eyes definitely seem irritated, which isn't normal for her. There's green discharge from the left one and the right one is kinda red. I'm just wondering if I should be worried or not, it's the middle of the night and the vet's not in. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Spider bite toxicity and age?

I have what I believe to be a spider bite and at its worst it looked like a large yellow oval with a thin red ring around it. I have been seeing many brown recluse spiders recently and have had a small one (about the size of my pinky fingernail) that has been crawling around my wall and ceiling near my bed. My car runs lousy when the A/C is on?

My 2008 Kia Rondo LXV6 runs lousy when the A/C is on by normally when it is off. When I say it runs lousy I mean that is lags off the line and hiccups at low speeds. Has anyone noticed that the band Born of Osiris has alot of hints about the illuminati consipiracy theory? The new reign album is self explanatory. Mac reformatting problem?

i was experiencing some software hiccup with my mac. so i was trying to reformat. but when i booted up and was holding down the c key with my installation disc in the drive, 1 minute later a grey window appeared telling me to restart my mac again. despite several restarts, the window still appears. it seems i wont be able to boot my mac from the dvd. solutions?

Broken Steel Glitch: Fallout 3?

Hey, I just finished playing the campaign to Fallout 3, and I had installed broken Steel. So, when I killed all the people in the Purifier room, we talked to the person on the Intercom, and I risked myself to activate Project Purity. I know many people have glitches, people not speaking over the intercom, but mine is different. I watch that little movie and everything, and then it says 2 Weeks Later. I am lying either face up or face down, and I can hear A Mr.Gutsy speaking in the background, and no one is talking. Let me be specific here, I don't even get up, all I can do is sit there looking at the ground our ceiling, I am not sure, and I can not see much, but I sat there for so long, and I tried to undownload it and everything. I even made sure that the "Broken Steel" sign came up before I entered the Purifier room, and it did. I am not sure what Is wrong but I need as much help as possible. Thank you in advance.
